Some common issues surrounding access to member emails are listed below:

  • Be sure to use your whole email address as your username, ie first.last@apbc.ca;
  • If using an email client such as Outlook or Thunderbird, use lowercase letters in your username;
  • Use http://www.apbc.ca/passchange.php to change your password;
  • You can access your @apbc email via a web based interface by clicking the link at http://www.apbc.ca or pointing your browser to http://my.apbc.ca;
  • Your password for your @apbc email is not the same as your password for the APBC web site;
  • If using an email client such as Outlook or Thunderbird, use pop and set your incoming and outgoing mail servers to: mail.apbc.ca;
  • As a security feature, you may only send mail via your client within 30 minutes of checking your email. To simplify this process, set your client to check before sending. This feature prevents spammers from using our mail server for sending spam.

Some common issues surrounding access to the APBC web site are listed below:

  • Your username is your first name followed by your last name separated by a dot: first.last;
  • You can edit much of your profile by clicking on "my account" on the left side bar;
  • Your password for access to the web site and your @apbc email are not the same, unless you set them to be;
  • Please keep your profile up to date.

If you are still having access problems, please email help@apbc.ca for assistance. Please be sure to include what kind of trouble you are having, and whether you are accessing your @apbc account via the web interface or an email client.
