Tentative Collective Agreement Ratification Tour/Webinar Dates
Dear Members,
Re: Tentative Collective Agreement Ratification Tour/Webinar Dates
As you are likely aware, we have a Tentative Collective Agreement (TA) in place. Your Negotiations Committee is putting the final documents together to be released to the membership. We appreciate your patience during this time.
The TA is scheduled to be released to the membership at 12:00 noon on Tuesday, January 17th. It will be posted to the APBC Website members area, so you must be logged in to view it. If you have not already done so, please check that you are able to log in. Please ensure you have registered using a personal email address at www.apbc.ca. You will not have access to these documents, nor will you have the ability to vote on the contract if you do not have access to the website.
January 17th, we will be holding our first live webinar at 19:00.
The next day, your Negotiations Committee and members of the PEC/PEB will begin a Province-wide Ratification Tour, with stops as detailed below:
January 18th 11:00 Nanaimo – Coast Bastion Hotel
January 18th 19:00 Victoria – Marriott Inner Harbour
January 19th 15:00 Vancouver (C/D Platoon) Sheraton Guilford / Live Webinar
January 20th Afternoon Prince George TBA
January 23rd Evening Cranbrook TBA
January 25th Afternoon Kelowna TBA
January 25th Evening Kamloops TBA
January 26th Afternoon Chilliwack TBA
January 30th 19:00 Vancouver (A/B Platoon) River Rock Hotel / Live Webinar
Please note the above dates are subject to change based on the availability of air travel and hotels that we are currently working to secure. An updated list and webinar links will be posted alongside the TA and supporting documents on the website on Tuesday. Details to send your questions virtually will also be included.
Voting is scheduled from Feb 1st at 12:00 noon until Feb 14th at 12:00 noon. The outcome of the vote will be released shortly afterward. Following confirmation by the Union Trustees, a detailed report will be generated, and the results will be communicated to the membership as soon as possible.
Thank you for your attention to the above dates, and we hope that as many people as possible can either show up in person with their questions or log onto the webinars to be fully informed of how this TA will apply to you.
In Solidarity,
Your Negotiations Committee
