1st & 2nd Call for Nominations – Public Ed Director & CSM Coordinator

RE:                  1^st & 2^nd CALL FOR NOMINATIONS – Provincial Public Education Director & Mental Health and Wellness Coordinator

After many years of service to the membership in their respective roles, Lindsay Kellosalmi (Mental Health and Wellness Coordinator) and Megan Lawrence (Provincial Public Education Director) have both announced their resignations.  Both of these women have been instrumental to effecting positive change for our membership and have developed their positions into integral roles within the Provincial Executive Board.  It is with sincere gratitude that we wish both Lindsay and Megan well in their next endeavors and thank them for their countless contributions.

As per Bylaw 13.d3(b), a call for nominations is required and a special Provincial Executive Board meeting will be held within 14 days of the closing of nominations where an election will occur.  The individuals elected through this by-election will complete the balance of the term which ends at Convention 2021 where a subsequent election will be held in accordance with Bylaw 13.b3.

This is the 1^st & 2^nd Call for Nominations for the positions listed below.  The 3^rd & FINAL call for nominations will follow on February 12, 2021.                  

Nominations must be submitted through the electronic form provided on the APBC.ca web site (https://www.apbc.ca/nominations/).  VERBAL, WRITTEN or FAXED nominations will NOT be accepted for nominations.

Nominees MUST CONFIRM their ACCEPTANCE of nomination ON-LINE at https://www.apbc.ca/my-nominations prior to the close of 3^rd & FINAL call for nominations.  ONLY ON-LINE acceptances will be considered valid.

The onus is on the NOMINEE to ensure their nomination has been accepted within the time limits.  NO FURTHER attempts will be taken to confirm acceptance of nomination.

The DEADLINE for 3^rd & FINAL call for nominations is FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 19^TH, 2021.
