Sirens for Life – Annual Canadian Blood Services Donation Drive
Dear Members,
Re: Sirens for Life – Annual Canadian Blood Services Donation Drive
As you may be familiar, Sirens for Life is an annual recruitment event held by Canadian Blood Services in which emergency personnel come together to donate blood. APBC has taken an active role in the event and has enjoyed working with Canadian Blood Services to bring awareness to the importance of blood donation.
APBC has been involved in the planning of this year’s event, and happy to report Canadian Blood Services will be running their social media campaign and have asked for member involvement. Canadian Blood Services has requested 2-3 members participate on camera in short videos to be created and shared. As well, on April 4, 2022 APBC has secured 10 donor spots at the Canadian Blood Services Oak St., Vancouver location where other First Responders will be taking part in donating and photos.
We are excited to once again participate in this important event and are looking to you – the members – for your involvement.
If you are interested in participating in this event, please email sherry.trider@apbc.ca as soon as possible to discuss.
Sincerely,
Sherry Trider
