Re:      Kilo Guarantee Update

We are very happy to announce that the Kilo Guarantee change will not be implemented today. It has been put on hold for 4 weeks, at which time it will be reviewed again.

We would like to thank the BC Provincial Government for all of their efforts in making this happen, without them this implementation change would not have ensued. Working in collaboration with the Government and union was HEABC, PHSA and BCEHS; who all played a pivotal part in bringing this into effect.

We appreciate the frustrations members have been feeling regarding Kilo Guarantee and we would like to thank you for your patience while we were working towards a solution.

We would also like to thank the membership for their hard work, dedication and professionalism during these stressful times and hope that this will provide some relief.
