Join Dustin Jackson May 31st for the monthly Shop Steward Learning Series.

Dustin Jackson is our Provincial Chief Grievance Officer, a position he has held for the past three years. Prior to that Dustin was a 2 West RVP for two years and a Shop Steward in 2 West for five years. Dustin has a certificate in Labour Relations and focuses on resolving the hundreds of grievances the Union receives.

On May 31st, Dustin will be discussing:

-Grievance procedure

-How to file a grievance

-Document requirements for filing grievances

-How the Union advances and resolves grievances outside arbitration

-Process of advancing a grievance to arbitration

-Communication and working with employer representatives
