Public Education & Government Relations

Paramedics continue to be a voice for public education in our communities, and strong advocates for more resources, better supports for our members, and improving patient care.

Public education and government relations are two big components of what we do as a union.  We are active public safety members and emergency first responders, but also play major roles in the healthcare system.  It’s important for us to be active in our communities, promoting first aid, preventative healthcare, as well as 911 awareness, but it doesn’t end there.

Government relations and political lobbying is also important to APBC, as it is a means to advance public policy, healthcare solutions, and advocate not only for our members, but for every patient that we serve. Our representatives are continually meeting politicians and community leaders to work on collaborative solutions for Paramedics Services in your community.
